Simple Beginnings – Africa to Australia
Gaby was born in England but grew up in rural Africa with medical missionary parents, where she enjoyed an idyllic childhood filled with memories of playing in the great outdoors with her siblings.
Her love of property began early when her family bought their family home in a seaside town on the East Coast of South Africa. The process of buying the family’s home, and the real estate agents involved, made an indelible impression on Gaby.
Years later in Australia, Gaby was able to fulfill her dream of being a real estate agent, first on the Sunshine Coast and later in Brisbane by establishing her own real estate brand/ business: My Property Group Pty Ltd”. Gaby is now a lead agent at McGrath Estate Agents in Wynnum/ Manly.
Before embarking on her current career in Real Estate, Gaby carved out a very successful career both in South Africa and Australia as a radio announcer and producer. Her easy conversational style and ability to develop rapport with listeners and fellow reporters have been valuable skills in her real estate career too.
